A Georgia-based attorney specializing in bankruptcy and criminal cases, Michael Vereen III has offices in Cherokee and Forsyth counties. Outside of work, Michael Vereen actively supports the MUST Ministries.

MUST is a nonprofit organization offering services at five locations in Cobb and Cherokee counties. Its flagship is the Elizabeth Inn, an emergency shelter and community kitchen that is open year-round and around-the-clock. In addition to food and shelter, MUST provides clothing and employment services and organizes seasonal outreach events, such as a Christmas Toy Shop.

Launched by Reverend Wayne Williams in 1971, MUST originally featured tutoring programs for youth and grocery services for older adults. Today, the organization boasts more than 6,000 volunteers, who help MUST host several annual fundraisers, including the Gobble Jog, a charity golf tournament, and the Party Like It's the 70s event.
